Can you cope with their little outfits 🥺🤍🥂 I almost didn't post these because I didn't feel very nice, but I have to remind myself to take photos even when my mind plays tricks on me. And I'll probably look back in a couple of weeks and think how nice I look. Does anyone else do that? What is with our brains never appreciating ourselves in the moment. Also Alf and Ada look too cute. 🤷🏼‍♀️💙 In true Postnatal style, I realised none of my dresses fit me as they're either too small or not Breastfeeding friendly (see stories) so I'm not sure I felt my best and turned my whole wardrobe upside down. Spent ages blow drying my hair and then just tied it up! 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I kept telling myself that it isn't important. At least the kids looked cute - tried to get a nice photo, but toddlers will do what they want. 🤪 And the outfit was at least very practical for feeding! It was Ada's first party and the first time Alf has stayed up way way past his bedtime so we didn't know how it would go down! Alf was amazing. He loved all the attention from everyone and brought out his best dance moves. He went to sleep about 9:30pm in the pram - but woke up on the train on the way home at midnight. He was being sooo cute on my knee (see the last photo). He went straight to bed as soon as got in and slept until 8am! Ada was fine at the beginning and then felt very overwhelmed - so I spent most of my evening in a corner with her. She fed lots but didn't really sleep. We brought both of their pyjamas to get them ready for bed which worked out so well. 🙏 Now we're trying to make a plan of how to spend Tommy's paternity leave. I feel a sense of pressure to not waste it but equally we feel stumped at things to do during the summer holidays with two littles. If anyone has any ideas or recommendations home or abroad please please share. I'd love to go to the Edinburgh fringe but not sure it's too kid friendly. Would love your help! Now I'm off to get my phone screen repaired as Alf kindly threw it down the stairs this morning. 🫠 Hope your Sunday is going better than ours. 🙏❤️」8月6日 20時25分
