８月２９日、森下陸上幕僚長は、豪陸軍主催陸軍参謀長シンポジウムにおいて、パプアニューギニア独立国のヤプ国防軍司令部参謀長と今後の防衛協力に向けた懇談を行うとともに、ハイレベル間の信頼関係を構築しました。太平洋島嶼国の重要なパートナーであるＰＮＧとの間で、引き続き、軍楽隊や施設分野に関する能力構築支援をはじめとした防衛協力を推進して参ります。🇵🇬🇯🇵

On AUG 29, Gen MORISHITA, JGSDF CS, held bilateral talks with COL Yapu, Chief of Staff of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force, for the future defense cooperation during #CAS2023 and also built a trusting relationship. We will continue to promote the defense cooperation with Independent State of Papua New Guinea, an important partner of the Pacific island countries, including the cooperation in capacity building related to the field of military bands and engineer.🇵🇬🇯🇵
