It was a unique experience to see so many different small prayer temples, some with multiple Buddhas, and was very interesting to watch the people pray and to try and catch a glimpse from outside these prayer areas. I say outside, and don’t have pictures from inside, because even though I was assured I could go into look, I felt it would be disrespectful as the point of entry is to bow and pray and I will not bow before any god but Yahweh. Still, serene and peaceful, this was a beautiful experience and gave me an even deeper glimpse into the complex Chinese culture. I am so very grateful to have these experiences in my life.
