Whoever said secondhand is second best? This quirky triplex, situated in an 18th-century building on Paris’s Left Bank, was given a second breath of life by Maria Speake and Adam Hills of Retrouvius (@retrouvius), a London-based ELLE DECOR A-List firm that specializes in reuse. The duo imbued the rooms with earthy greens and buttery yellows. Shots of color come from the client’s art collection and fun textiles—like the grass-green @pierre_augustin_rose sofas from @theinvisiblecollection. “Through simplicity and reuse, we were able to put the apartment back into its most beautiful form,” says Leila Brink, one of the homeowners. “It proves that old can be beautiful too.”
