In this Parisian kitchen, it’s hard to tell what’s old—and what’s older. Retrouvius’s (@retrouvius) Adam Hills regularly gets phone calls from people with a bizarre breadth of what they want to dispose of—paneling, or display cabinets, or a set of doors, or amazing old floors, or 200 lights. “Really random,” says Maria Speake, who works alongside him. “And that’s where the fun comes in.” Here, the kitchen got a timeless upgrade in the form of cabinet doors made from salvaged oak parquet floors, vintage French school chairs, and a Saarinen table for @knoll.
