This Park City, Utah chalet boasts Swiss and Bavarian influences that felt very traditional—that is, until it came into the hands of ski enthusiasts Julia DeWahl and Dan Romero who turned to Venice, California-based Electric Bowery (@electricbowery) to take the house off-piste. The designers avoided the obvious route of reproducing traditional ski chalet interiors to match the facade and instead opted for a layered look. “When you take the philosophy and methods of construction from varying styles and put them together, you come up with something really new and very personal,” explains Lucia Bartholomew, one of the firm’s founders.
