『愚鈍の微笑み』初日満席にてスタート致しました。有難う御座いました。自分自身で居続けるということによって、不条理な社会に対して抵抗することを選んだ人たちの映画です。戦時中の会話劇なのですが、最初の3分の1全く台詞がないという僕の映画で最も尖った映画でもあります。これからも上映は続いていきます。劇場にてお待ちしております。

The first day of my new feature film "THE GIRLS" has started with a full house. Thank you very much. It is a film about people who choose to resist the absurdity of society by being themselves. It is a wartime conversational drama, but it is also the most challenging film I have ever made, as the first third of the film has no dialogue at all. The screening will continue. We look forward to seeing you at the theater.
