Film buffs unite 🎬 Join us on Nov 14 at 7pm at the @academymuseum for Nam June Paik: Moon is the Oldest TV and Post-Screening Conversation with actor @スティーヴン・ユァン (@minarimovie, @nopemovie, Beef) and producer @jbstockman, moderated by Michael Govan.

We'll be screening a feature-length documentary, directed by Amanda Kim, that chronicles the life of Korean-born artist #NamJunePaik (1936–2006). Often referred to as the “Father of Video Art,” Paik coined the term “Electronic Superhighway'' long before the internet. The film uses extensive archival footage to recount his collaborations with David Bowie, Philip Glass, Charlotte Moorman, Joseph Beuys, Allen Ginsberg, and John Cage.
