I tried to capture my dads optimism, gratitude, and hope amidst life’s challenges. No matter how much pain he was in or how much life threw it’s curveballs, he always found a way to be thankful. Even in his last days he was ready for the end and said “todays a good day, nows a good time”.. hence the inspiration behind this song.. but isn’t that beautiful; that all we can do is embrace the reality of each day head on. And if we do, we accept what is and has been for us. What’s meant to be will always find it’s way, and we can’t control a lot so we might as well find the beauty in the insanity that is life.
