テート・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム動画 - (テート・ギャラリーInstagram)「Meet Bobby Baker, the artist behind the edible installation currently on the lawn of Tate Britain! 🏠 We met Baker and her ‘family’– life-sized figures formed of biscuits, meringue, and cake – on the installation’s opening day earlier this month. Over time, visitors have been eating away at the family figures, creating an ever-evolving display examining the roles of the family. The artist said of the project: ‘The whole of my life’s work stems from an early feeling of injustice, lack of opportunity and the undervaluing of care work. From an early age I saw my mother’s role was undervalued, but also that men could become trapped. Society still doesn’t adequately support families, parents, or domestic labour and yet work and childcare are fundamental to survival and humanity. The pandemic also exposed the many inequalities that still exist in society today, and their detrimental impact on family life.’ - @bobbyartistbaker ‘Edible Family’ is a replica of Baker’s 1976 installation. This special remake comes as part of ‘Women in Revolt!
