There is so much grief, so much loss, so many endings both in the collective and in my own life. A reminder that we are not separate from the world around us. As of today the official death toll of Palestinians that have been killed by the Israeli government’s bombardment of Gaza is at almost sixteen thousand, with so many others left to die a slow and painful death under the rubble. These insidious systems of imperialism, domination and supremacy hurt and hinder all of us. Even though we’ve not been able to stop this abhorrent violence, I know deep in my cells that something huge is happening as more and more people are waking up to see how all these systems of are interconnected. I refuse to let this grief close my heart. For years I’ve been praying for assistance to change, for help to come into alignment to be the person I’m truly supposed to be in the world but I underestimated how painful that process of shedding and transformation truly is. But if we want the world to change, we must change ourselves, and for us to change parts of us must die to be reborn. We are being asked to transform ourselves for this new paradigm or risk being cluelessly left behind. With that as my intention, I’m about to step into a vow of silence today for my first Vipassana journey, I am nervous but I know it’s what is being asked of me during this time. As I step into this moment of silence and expansion, I just had to say one more time, so it reverberates into the atmosphere: for the love of humanity, for the love of our planet and our interconnectedness with all life, in the name of love and truth ~ #CEASEFIRENOW Collective liberation and healing for all.
