What you should not miss at Incheon Asian Games?
This Asia’s biggest sports event will take place from Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 in Incheon, Seoul Korea. The 17th Asiad will welcome some 13,000 athletes from 45 countries, including North Korea, to Korea’s third most populous city. One of the highlights of the event will be the opening ceremony which will be led by the nation’s veteran director Im Kwon-taek and produced by popular film director Jang Jin.It will be also joined by renowned artists such as Ahn Sook-seon, the master of “pansori” (Korean opera), violinist Richard Yongjae O’Neill and cellist Song Young-hoon. Famed actor Kim Soo-hyun ― who shot to stardom all over Asia with the immense success of the SBS television drama, "My Love from the Star” ― will perform.Besides Kim, a number of top “hallyu,” or Korean wave, stars will take part in the opening ceremony, such as K-pop boy groups EXO, Big Bang, JYJ and CNBLUE, along with rapper Psy and actress Lee Young-ae.
