The cinematography is worse. The production design and staging is way worse (their was simple things like symmetry in the shots and leading lines and although flatter the light felt motivated and added rather than subtracted from the scene). The editing also is just worse, the dialogue lap to reaction just feels stilted and that makes the acting feel silly rather than grounded in anything at all, whether intentional or unintentional every part of the new scene seems really really sloppy and amature.
It may or may not be true but it seems you love creating a smodverse for your smodverse family than the art of film making and film directing...

@thatkevinsmith watching part 1 was one of my fondest memory as a kid. I was 6 maybe 7th grade. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen till the day. I remember walking to the video store to rent it on vhs after school and passing by 7/11 for some snacks and laughing my ass off. Still makes me laugh till this day when I watch it. Your movies are f-ing awesome.

Love Jason. I've been a fan of his since he filmed the first ever 360 kickflip to be captured in a skate clip, when he started stereo, to when I first saw him in your movie then in @tonyhawk project wasteland. Still to this day one of my favorite people of all time and one of the most genuine, best dudes in acting and skating.

I don’t care if this feels the same the fact that you Jason mewes and countless others along with new people to the cast is great and fantastic to see. And most importantly is that you enjoy what you love doing and that’s what really counts. Rock on Kevin, snoochie boochies XD
