Our Easter care package from my dear mother-in-law looks a *little* different this year. In fact, everything looks a little different, doesn't it? Are you embracing the changes or kicking and screaming? I do a little of both.
✨ We've put a mattress on our living room floor for cozy quarantine movie nights....but I've also cried sobbing, crumpled-face tears over our cancelled Alaskan vacation.
✨ I love that there's almost no highway noise in our neighbourhood at night....but I can't believe my parents aren't spending April with us as planned.
✨ I genuinely love the "in it together" vibes....but I physically ache for all the sweet souls we've lost and are losing.
✨ And I know I'm extremely lucky to be isolated with @matthewjay and a supreme cuddle-monster-of-a-poodle....but the urge to stand on a mountain top alone and scream is REAL.
