A little BTS.
When you qualify for the Olympic Games, you get a commemorative ring for representing @teamusa
When I qualified for my first Olympics in Vancouver, I was 16 years old and therefore didn’t have a credit card. At the time, the lowest tier of available rings was the basic gold one, and I was 99.99% sure that my parents would have laughed at me if I asked them to pay for the diamonds. 💎
Fast forward to 2018, and I go all out. The base was sterling silver this time, so I full on splurge on the gold and diamonds.
I NEVER WEAR THE RINGS. They’re kind of big and loud, so they’re not my go to every day jewelry.
A few months ago, I moved all my stuff from Colorado to CA and somehow lost my Vancouver ring in the process and I full on flipped out. I begged my parents to look through the entire house to which they laughed and said that I probably dropped it somewhere. Today, my dad texted me to let me know that he found it under the seat in the car. I AM OFFICIALLY AN IDIOT BUT ALSO WHY AM I SO RELIEVED THAT WE FOUND A RING I NEVER WEAR?!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
