BANDED CORE 💪🏼 Absolutely loving banded exercises at the moment! Especially ones that challenge rotational strength…

Most important thing when working with bands is to keep control throughout the exercises (when you stretch the band AND also when your return back to the start position. Don’t let the band recoil you back, resist the tension 😈

These 3 exercises are excellent for targeting your ENTIRE core (abs, obliques AND glutes). Yes, your glutes are part of your core! 🍑

Try this as a workout:
3 sets
x10 reps of each

▪️1. UPWARD CHOP
- The FRONT leg is the one closest to the band anchor point.
- As you rotate, press upward and push through the front foot to activate your glutes.

▪️2. BANDED CRUNCH
- Curl your spine as much as you can (almost like your are rounding your back into the band)

▪️3. SL BRIDGE LATERAL PRESS
- The grounded foot is the one closest to the band anchor point.
- Push firmly into the foot as you pull the band. Fight the resistance and keep the body as still as possible.
