COMME des GARÇONS 青山店リニューアル記念のブックレットを頂きました。1989年からの記録。開店、最初のリニューアル、そして二度目の増床リニューアル、その３つの年代に分けた内容で、それが異なる判型になっていて、全部を分厚い中綴じにした写真集です。写真セレクトも含み川久保玲さんが編集なさったそう。真空パックになっているので、もったいなくて開封できない。中は店舗で見せてもらいました。どーしよー。このままアートとして取っとこうかな。

COMME des GARÇONS is a fashion brand that I have admired since I was an adolescent. I first started with second-hand clothes and gradually started buying them. Even now, I wait for the release of new SS and AW collections with the same eagerness as I look forward to the release of a new album by my favorite musician. As a creator myself, it is very stimulating to see what designers who are competing on the world stage are thinking now.
