I got a statue made of my bump by @milestonable when I was heavily pregnant with Ada and it's one of my favourite things I have! I love it even more knowing it was Ada in there. It's a reminder of what amazing things my body has done on bad body image days. A celebration of my body! Plus, I feel like I can give it to her one day, maybe if she ever decides to have a child of her own. 🥹 Well, I decided that Postnatal body also deserved celebrating in all its glory. A celebration of my Breastfeeding journey. A celebration of the body that birthed both babies. Because you don't need to bounce back to be worthy of celebration. Postnatal bodies deserve as much love and praise as the pregnant one. Because it's this tummy that grew her. These b00bs that fed her. It's so special to be able to eternalise this moment. As my body will change - both through recovery, exercise, but also age. I find in the present we can be critical of ourselves but we'll look back at these moments and think just how wonderful they were. I can't wait to have the statue sometime next month. 🥹❤️ This isn't an AD by the way, I just want to share an amazing small business (she's a one man band!) that I think people might love.
