８月３１日、森下陸上幕僚長は、豪陸軍主催陸軍参謀長シンポジウムにおいて、アメリカ合衆国のフリン米太平洋陸軍司令官と今後の防衛協力に向けた懇談を行うとともに、ハイレベル間の信頼関係を強化しました。この際、オリエント・シールド（ＯＳ）及びヤマサクラ（ＹＳ）等の共同訓練を通じた深化の度合いを確認するとともに、新領域における連携強化を更に促進していくことで認識を一致しました。🇺🇸🇯🇵

On AUG 31, GEN MORISHITA, JGSDF CS held bilateral talks with GEN Flynn, Commanding General, U.S. Army Pacific for future defense cooperation during #CAS2023 and built a stronger relationship of trust. On this occasion, we confirmed the advancement of Japan-U.S. cooperation through joint training exercises such as Orient Shield and Yama Sakura, and also agreed to further promote cooperation in new domains.🇺🇸🇯🇵
