In fact, ELLE DECOR A-List firm Retrouvius (@retrouvius), founded by Maria Speake and Adam Hills, made a name for themselves by repurposing bits and bobs salvaged from buildings. Like the heaps of suede remnants Hills recovered from a defunct leather factory.
