On the outside, this Park City, Utah ski chalet boasted charming Swiss and Bavarian influences, such as ornately carved wood balconies. Its beige interiors, however, were remarkably lacking in character. “It was very much a developer project, with no special details,” says Stephanie Luk of the firm Electric Bowery (@electricbowery). To overhaul this space, the design team embraced what it describes as a “narrative-driven process,” avoiding the obvious route of reproducing traditional ski chalet interiors to match the facade. In the great room, the @stahl_band sofa is in a mohair by @kneedlerfauchere, and the cocktail table is by @sundayshop.
