Looking for an escape? Try using dark colors and cozy textures in your bedroom. This luxurious sleeping space, designed by San Francisco studio Homework (@homeworkdesignshop), has inky blue walls to allow you “to sort of remove yourself from the energy of the rest of the house,” firm cofounder Ben Work explains. The custom bed, in the designers’ words, is “gargantuan” and is backed by a floor-to-ceiling, channel-tufted headboard covered in an “incredible yummy brown mohair by @lamaisonpierrefrey,” adds firm cofounder Susan Work. “We wanted to bring in the ultimate cozy factor here.”
