Lingerie is so intrinsically linked to my journey of accepting my body. See, when I first needed a bra, I was a 30GG. I don’t know where they came from. It was like, bam! B00bs! All my friends were shopping in La Senza and I had to get ugly granny bras from M&S (no offence: they have cracking lingerie). And I was made to feel ashamed of my body for my entire teens. I wasn’t allowed to wear the same clothes as friends, I was told not to attract unwanted attention. I was taught not to be *slutty* because it was be my fault if I got the wrong sort of attention. I even went for a GP appointment at 15 to talk about breast reduction but I never did it. By the time I’d reached my 30s I discovered beautiful lingerie. And decided I wouldn’t be ashamed of my body anymore. I wouldn’t be punished for my natural body. And then when I got pregnant with Alf, I went for a bra fitting and they put me in all this awful frumpy lingerie. ‘well you’re going to be a mum, maybe you need to wear higher tops’ said the lady. It was like being a teen again. So I went on a mission to find beautiful nursing lingerie. So here are my favourites: 👙Cosabella for beautiful lacy non underwired lingerie in the best colours. 👙Hot Milk. It’s like nice lingerie... But nursing friendly. This is my everyday bra so it’s a little bobbly but my favourite thing about these bras are they give a good lift so great for wearing under t-shirts and jumper for the most flattering silhouette. 👙Bravado. These are just very very comfortable - especially good for the early days! My biggest tip would be not to buy nursing bras whilst pregnant though, as your b00bs will grow when your milk comes in after baby is born. 🙏」11月3日 22時05分
