Check out our highlights below. ✨ 🏛️ 1 December: Tonight, join us from 6pm to 10pm at Tate Britain for a free evening exploring the journey of Black art through the spectrum of Afrofuturism. Through art, music and dance, this #LateAtTate Britain will celebrate the present and future from the African diaspora. 🧶 2 December: Calling all families, join author @ShyalaSmith at Tate Britain’s #StorySpace as she reads from her beautiful book ‘Sai’s Magic Silk’, and stay for a creative activity using textiles and props. Free for all. 🔮 3 December: Join magical realist artist, designer and co-founder of @SpaceBlack__ @Rayan_Elnayal, afrofemcentrist painter Shannon Bono and others for an evening talk at Tate Modern where they will discuss how art and exhibition making can become sites for community building. @bonosart_ 🎥 6 December: Using themes from our current show #WomenInRevolt, join members of the London Women's Film Group at Tate Britain to explore feminist collective filmmaking practices as part of the six-part film programme ‘Through a Radical Lens’. 🎶 6, 20 December: Visit @tatecornerbar for a chilled evening of drinks and music curated and hosted by the country's foremost vinyl DJs and collectors. 🥂 8, 16, 22 December: Join us for a free fortnightly dose of experimental, underground music in @tatecornerbar's event series '@Gl0balR00ts The Modern Music Archive', with DJs, musicians and luminaries exploring the sound and culture behind the arts.
