‘ Black History Month’ - @yaquimpii takes over Day 3

Although I am French and live in Paris, I draw inspiration globally. In particular, I find inspiration in #Africa (the continent of my birth) and the US because I can relate to its language surrounding dual identity and community. The concept of Black History Month is not widely embraced in #France, but it should be because we are integral to the history of France. Because there are not many opportunities to ceIebrate our contributions in France, I was honored when I was chosen by the American University of Paris @aupinstagram to curate the inaugural "Embracing" exhibition for last year's Black History Month in collaboration with @thecalifornien. It was an examination of this concept through the lens of a group of Afro-French Artists.
