A little about me— I am the owner and operator of @winniesbakery & @oecostudios. I got my start in 2012, when I opened WinniE’s Bakery. The inspiration for WinniE’s Bakery comes from my maternal grandmother, Winifred. But, she is more than the namesake. She was my catalyst. One of my earliest memories is of me being in the kitchen and watching her in awe as she glided around effortlessly concocting confections.  ____________________________________  Little did I know that roughly 20 some odd years later I would be following in her footsteps. I was in college and had no plans to start a baking business. But, after a fateful night of cramming for a psychology final and not being able to sleep—I decided to make Espresso Brownies. Without being fully aware at the time, I had stepped into my path. And, oh what an amazing journey it has been so far.  —————————————————————— I look forward to sharing about myself, my food, inspirations and aspirations—and hopefully getting to know you all a little better too.
