Beautiful Scenery in Every Season at Kisshoji Park!😍✨
Kisshoji Park in Kitakyushu City is close to Kisshoji Temple, which is said to have been founded between 1213 and 1224.
The 3.2-hectare park is a place where you can enjoy the scenery of each season, with wisterias and cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangeas in early summer, autumn leaves in fall, and more.🌸🍁
There are many places to enjoy its lush nature, such as its lawn or observatory from which you can admire the surrounding mountains.😊
Its main highlight is the wisterias blooming in late April!
Some of them are around 160 years old. You can see these blooming flowers at the Kisshoji Temple Wisteria Festival held there every year.✨
During the festival, numerous bustling street stalls are set up and you can enjoy performances of the local performing art, Kissho taiko drums.🎵
