Boojilさんのインスタグラム写真 - (BoojilInstagram)「journey of Argentina 20代後半で南米はアルゼンチンを旅したことがある。首都のブエノスアイレスは南米のパリと呼ばれるくらいオシャレな街だった。ボリビアからバックパッカーとしてアルゼンチン入りしたわたしは砂埃に塗れた民族衣装で上陸し、それまでシャーマンや放牧されたリャマや、土着的な雰囲気にすっかり染まっていたため、アルゼンチン人のセンスの良さに脱帽し、すぐさまホテルを抜け出してセレクトショップに入り、ショッキングピンクのジャンプスーツを買ってブエノスアイレスではショッピングを楽しんだのだった。旅先では郷に従うことを心がけている。ビルの壁面や街のあらゆる場所にクオリティの高いグラフィティーアートが描かれていたのも印象的で、ちょっとだけ身につけたスペイン語で現地人と対話ができたはとても良い思い出になっている。ちなみにメキシコ、グアテマラ、ペルーやボリビアの先住民族の暮らしや知恵や文化には相変わらず深い愛情をもっている。そんなアルゼンチンで活躍する音楽家のアルゼンチン人の友人からNEWアルバムのジャケットの依頼があった。音源を聴きながら遠い遠いアルゼンチンに想いを馳せ、わたしはまたいつかブエノスアイレスの地を訪れるのだろうと思う。絵を描くのも、リリースも、いまからとても楽しみである。 In my late 20s, I traveled to Argentina in South America. The capital, Buenos Aires, was so fashionable that it was called the Paris of South America. I arrived in Argentina as a backpacker from Bolivia and landed in dust-covered traditional costumes.Up until then, I had been steeped in the indigenous atmosphere of shamans and grazing llamas, so I was captivated by the Argentine people's good taste. I bought a shocking pink jumpsuit from a select shop and enjoyed shopping in Buenos Aires. I received a request from an Argentinian friend of mine who is a musician active in Argentina to create the jacket for a new album. While listening to the sound source, I thought of Argentina, far away, and thought that I would probably visit Buenos Aires again someday.
