A contemporary extension containing the kitchen and primary bedroom suite abuts a sunny private courtyard. Architect Vicki Yuan sought to create a seamless experience between indoors and out, which meant that the existing terrace received a substantial upgrade, complete with a new pool, a pergola, and outdoor grilling and dining areas.
