Sitting at the foot of this sacred altar in this magical temple, gathered around in circle like humans have done for time immemorial, while holding space for others as they journey inward, is a powerful path.
To be in prayer, that is to be offering intentions with attention, co-creating with a force greater than ourselves, is to surrender the tight grip on life and allow ourselves to tap into the energy of connection that all life shares. Whether it is with spirit, creation, source, nature or the divinity within, it is about offering the wishes of our hearts to spread love and healing both inward and out.
The elements of creation — Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether, exist all around us. They are the building blocks of our physical reality and have so much to teach us, if we are open to listening. They also help us to reflect on the spirit of those same elements that reside within us, how to harness them and honour their gifts.
Our Inner Alchemy Altar pays tribute to the four elements and the four cardinal directions, centred around the element of ether, the element that holds all elements, as a way of communing with these powerful teachers and weaving ancient ways to assist us in creating a more harmonious future.
