In search of lost time? Step inside this Miami bedroom, which became a tribute to Marcel Proust via its cork-covered walls, bed, and nightstands. The memorable move—the handiwork of design firm Charlap Hyman & Herrero (@ch_herrero)— is a nod to the French novelist’s own cork-lined bedroom. “I wanted an homage to irreverence,” says the apartment’s owner, Tom Healy. “We thought, let’s do something Proustian in Miami.” All that’s missing are the madeleines.
