Details matter. Nobody executes such careful attention to even the minutiae of design better than ELLE DECOR A-List Titan Darryl Carter (@darrylcarterdesign), whose recent project, a collaboration with architect Anne Decker (@annedeckerarchitects), is a testament to the weight of the little things. In the primary bathroom of this Virginia home, gray Carrara marble stretches across—a mixture of cream and gray that also appears in the home’s gravel driveway. It creates “a transition between the inside and out,” says Decker. The custom-painted tub and fittings are by @waterworks, and the vintage ottoman is by @bruno_mathsson.
