Happy Caturday to all! 🐱 Today we bring you the clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa). This feline gets its common name from the black cloud-shaped pattern on its coat. Its range spans Nepal through southeast Asia and into China, but it’s a stealthy animal that’s rarely seen in the wild. It’s a formidable hunter, with great tree-climbing and swimming abilities. Meals include primates, birds, and deer. Fun fact: It has the longest canine teeth relative to body size of any living felid—and sometimes even referred to as a “modern-day saber tooth!”
