Happy Caturday! Did you know? The kodkod (Leopardus guigna) is the smallest wild cat in the Americas. On average, it weighs about 5.5 pounds (2.5 kilograms) with a body length of 18 inches (46 centimeters)—which is no larger than a house cat! It inhabits forests in parts of Chile and Argentina, where it hunts for and feeds on small rodents, birds, and reptiles.
